Surrey, Langley and Fraser Valley Real Estate Market Statistics – November 2016

Here are the latest real estate market statistics from Macdonald Realty on Surrey, White Rock, Langley, and Fraser Valley listings and sales in November 2016.

North Surrey

In November 2016, there were 46 sales of detached homes and 352 active listings in North Surrey. The benchmark sale price was $836,200.

The condo market had 82 sales, 170 active listings at the end of the month.  The benchmark sale price was $237,300.

In comparison, townhome sales were 28, active listings were 44 and the benchmark sale price was $336,900.

It’s a buyer’s market for single family homes.

Surrey – Central

In the Surrey – Central market, there were 91 sales of detached homes and 539 active listings at the end of the month.  The benchmark sale price was $868,800.

In comparison, the condo market had 23 sales, 52 active listings, and the benchmark sale price was $237,900.

Townhome market featured 65 sales, 193 active listings and a $436,200 benchmark sale price.

It’s a seller’s market for condos and townhomes.

White Rock/South Surrey

There were 62 sales, 467 active listings, and a $1,433,900 benchmark sale price for detached homes in the White Rock/South Surrey market.

The condo market featured 64 sales, 153 active listings and a benchmark sale price of $357,400 at the end of the month.

In comparison, townhome sales were 54, active listings were 118 and the benchmark sale price was $584,100.

It’s a buyer’s market for single family homes.

Langley

In the Langley market, the benchmark sale price was $871,600 for detached homes. At the end of November, there were 263 active listings and 82 sales.

The condo market had 70 sales and 91 active listings. The benchmark sale price was $265,800.

Townhomes featured 72 sales, 128 active listings and a $437,100 benchmark sale price.

It’s a seller’s market in Langley.

Abbotsford

In the Abbotsford market, there were 80 sales and 313 active listings for detached homes at the end of November. The benchmark sale price was $663,000.

The condo market featured 76 sales, 127 active listings and a $209,100 benchmark sale price.

In comparison, townhomes sales were 30, active listings were 86, and the benchmark sale price was $304,200.

It’s a seller’s market in Abbotsford.
