West Vancouver Community Guide

Welcome to West Vancouver, one of the wealthiest cities in the Lower Mainland, located on the northwest shore of the city of Vancouver. West Vancouver was incorporated in 1912, after separating from the district of North Vancouver. At the time, most of the existing dwellings were built in the British Pacific Properties development, controlled by the Guinness family. In the city of West Vancouver, residents get to enjoy late night strolls alongside the Ambleside Seawalk, day trips along the coast and around the shoreline, or a hike up Cypress Mountain. Not only is West Vancouver rich in its recreational activities, it also includes areas of luxury real estate and gorgeous waterfront view homes.
