Raised in New Mexico, a competitive team player in sports from a young age, I attended the University of Texas in Austin on a basketball scholarship, subsequently winning an NCAA championship after an undefeated season. I carry that discipline, training, and dedication into everything. I am motivated by success and thrive as a team player. Over the years, I lived two decades in New Orleans as well as shorter stints in Alaska, Oregon, and British Columbia’s Sunshine Coast, ultimately nestling into my home on southern Vancouver Island.
Of all the places I have lived and visited, nothing fits my vision, fills my heart, or makes me happier than Victoria. I am thankful each day to be able to call this home, and I cherish every moment I spend on spectacular Vancouver Island. What is island life? It is an inclusive community culture, close-knit neighborhoods, natural beauty of the Pacific west coast, temperate climate, top-tier medical care, vibrant cultural diversity, all removed from the frenetic pace of large urban centers, yet with easy access to Vancouver or Seattle, and from there the rest of the world.
