About Chris Brown

I’ve proudly called Victoria home since 1982, and after decades here, I know the character and charm of each neighborhood, the places that are perfect for young professionals, for raising kids, or for enjoying a well-earned retirement by the ocean.

 

I began my real estate career in 2005, inspired by my own first home-buying experience. I remember the excitement, the emotion, and especially the gratitude I felt for the professionals who guided me through the process. Helping people achieve something so meaningful became a calling. So here I am.

 

I joined Macdonald Realty in 2011, focusing on residential real estate, from first condos, to family homes to well-planned downsizing moves. My approach is caring, professional, ethical, and grounded in strong communication. I’m here to ensure you feel informed, confident, and supported from start to finish.

 

Outside the world of real estate, I’m a husband and a father to two daughters — a role that has shaped my appreciation for community, safety, and the importance of finding the right place to call home. I also enjoy martial arts (I’m a rusty old Taekwondo black belt), disc golf, cooking, and exploring the endlessly fascinating gamut of human experience. I value kindness, honesty, and the courage to live those values consistently. Also, I remain easily distracted by butterflies and shiny things — which I believe is, in fact, a sign of good mental health.

 

Life here is beautiful, tragically funny, and incredibly lucky. I intend to help people enjoy it — preferably in the right home.

 

Most importantly: I’m a professional and an expert in my field… but also just a regular, likeable human who genuinely cares about his clients. I am not my job — but I am very good at it.
