David holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Simon Fraser University with a major in Economics, as well as having completed Level I of the CFA Program. David has over 20 years of experience in the real estate and investment finance industry. In 2008, David incorporated a private equity and venture capital advisory firm to develop economic opportunities between British Columbia and the Asia Pacific.
 
As part of Macdonald Commercial’s property management team since May 2016, David leverages his background in finance and business analysis to help property owners to manage and to grow their investment property portfolio. David’s involvement in real estate has been wide-ranging, from managing single-family and multi-unit residential developments, lease negotiations, liaising with tenants & owners, to being actively involved in the strata council.
 
David is involved with a number of professional associations, such as ACG Vancouver, CFA Vancouver, CFA International, and actively involved with the Burnaby Board of Trade (BBOT) as a member of their Pacific Gateway Committee.
