Derek has a proven track record in British Columbia’s commercial real estate market and extensive expertise across multiple asset classes, including industrial, retail, office, multi-family, hospitality, healthcare, storage, land, and micro-cap M&A advisory for enterprises with an EBITDA of over $1 million CAD.
Before transitioning into commercial real estate, Derek built a strong foundation in finance and sales, working for Wells Fargo, GE Capital, and Ledcor. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the Gustavson School of Business at the University of Victoria.
Prior to joining Macdonald Commercial, Derek successfully facilitated commercial sale transactions totaling over $830 million across various Metro Vancouver submarkets and urban centers throughout British Columbia.
