Fernando Padres is a Commercial Broker at Macdonald Commercial Real Estate, specializing in investment sales, retail tenant representation, and development advisory across Metro Vancouver. He holds a BBA in Finance and Business Strategy from the Beedie School of Business at Simon Fraser University and brings a strategic, data-driven approach to helping clients maximize the value of their real estate decisions.
Fernando began his brokerage career with JLL in 2023 as part of the Western Canada Retail Team, where he supported national tenant mandates and built a strong foundation in site selection, lease negotiation, and market analytics. His early exposure to the industry came through his family’s development companies, where he developed a practical understanding of real estate from a young age.
Born in Mexico City and raised on Vancouver’s North Shore, Fernando is fluent in Spanish and deeply connected to both the local and Latin American communities. As the founder of Padres Real Estate and Capital, Fernando is proudly pioneering the availability of fully bilingual commercial real estate services for the Spanish-speaking community in BC. Through this platform, he delivers personalized advisory to investors, developers, and entrepreneurs with a focus on transparency, cultural connection, and value creation.
