Kent has been involved in the Vancouver commercial real estate market since 1989. For the past 20 years, he has focused on providing commercial real estate consulting to private and public sector tenants in Metro Vancouver, including TU Group, WorkSafeBC, and InComm Canada. He assists clients in locating, strategizing, and securing the most appropriate office space for their businesses or organizations. Prior to joining Macdonald Realty Westmar in 2000, Kent was with Canada’s largest commercial real estate firm for over ten years.
 
During this time, he represented the landlords of professional buildings in Greater Vancouver, including C-P Pension Funds, Beutel Goodman, and CN Real Estate. From this experience, he understands a landlord’s motivations beyond rental rates. Kent completed a diploma in Urban Land Economics at UBC in 1988, and since then, he has been a member of the British Columbia Real Estate Association and the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver. He also has a background in real estate appraisal.
