Lori brings to Macdonald Realty Inc. over 30 years of experience in corporate and retail sales management, creative strategic marketing planning, coordinating corporate events, and media relations for a variety of industries and clients.
Lori ran her own boutique Marketing, Event, and Media Relations Company for 15 years. Working with Bosa Properties, Spa Utopia, Eccotique Aveda Spa, Dianes Lingerie, Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation, and many more companies and non-profit organizations. Lori developed creative marketing plans, which help to brand her clients' companies.
Lori has a passion for interior design and staging. Her hobbies include: horseback riding, tennis, snowshoeing, and she has been practicing yoga for 16 years. She loves animals and currently has 25 little critters, from horses to cats, many of which are rescues. Working with clients and creating a game plan of what their current needs are, as well as future aspirations, has been a key component to Lori’s business success, and she brings this experience to her Real Estate business as Top Producer for Macdonald Realty.
Lori created her own non-profit organization in 1995 called the Celebration of Hope Foundation to which libraries were placed in non-profit organizations to help people and their families that were challenged with life-threatening illnesses, and so they could find hope and inspiration through the power of knowledge. Lori placed 13 libraries in British Columbia in such places as Canuck Place, Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation BC - Yukon Chapter, Prostate Centre at VGH, Palliative Care Unit – Lions Gate Hospital, to name a few.
Born in Oliver, BC, and grew up in Burnaby, then spent 12 years on the North Shore, and now lives with her husband Lawrence in the Southlands area of Vancouver. Son Matt graduated from McGill, and daughter Jennifer works for Macdonald Realty. David, son-in-law, is a mortgage broker for RBC. Lori was Miss Teen Canada in 1972 and traveled extensively representing Canadian youth.
