About Matthew Lee

Matthew Lee is a multi-faceted Real Estate Advisor with Macdonald Realty’s Westside office in Vancouver, B.C. and consistently produces high transactional volumes as one of the firm’s residential and multifamily market specialists. In 2004, after graduating with a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) Degree specializing in marketing, Matthew was recruited to join Macdonald Realty’s Platinum Project Marketing Group. For the next five years that ensued, Matthew held a Senior position at Platinum, responsible for overseeing marketing directives, working with designers, architects, project consultants, and managing sales teams. At the end of his tenure with Platinum, Matthew was involved in the successful marketing, sales, and delivery of 35 real estate developments with a team-combined total sales volume exceeding $1 billion in real estate sold as far west as the University of British Columbia (UBC) to Kelowna, B.C.

 

In 2009, Matthew transitioned into a Senior Management position with Macdonald Realty Group, where he successfully co-managed all three Vancouver real estate offices and oversaw the hiring and development of over 250 agents. During his time in this position, the Vancouver offices produced record revenues and profits, and Matthew was selected by Macdonald Realty’s CEO, Lynn Hsu, to create a corporate project marketing division in order to utilize the firm’s full-service assets: land acquisition, design consultation, sales/marketing, and property management. The start-up of the corporate project division paved the path for Matthew to return to a real estate advisory position, which now includes a broad range of experience in freehold and leasehold land interests and all facets of real estate, including strata and non-strata residential, commercial, light industrial, and project marketing/sales.

 

A resident of Vancouver’s westside, Matthew is heavily involved in community sports as he coaches youth soccer with Vancouver United FC, t-ball, baseball, and ice hockey. Matthew served on the Fundraising Committee for the BC Professional Fire Fighters Association Burn Fund and currently holds a position on both the Arbutus Club Minor Hockey Committee and Planning and Facilities Committee respectively. Matthew works with a wide range of clients, servicing a variety of real estate mandates and objectives.
